I found the coolest crafty thing to learn. Raising silk worms! I've always been fascinated by silk and love the fabric. I know how to spin lots of fibers but silk is about reeling, not spinning. ANYWAYS, a lady comes to the Farmers Market and talks with me about her adventures in raising silk worms. She told me about a website devoted to raising silk worms wormspit.com Isn't that the best name for a silk site? I think I'm going to try this next spring! I just fall into this sort of thing. Of course sometimes it is an utter disaster (see my brain tanning posts, what a fiasco).
