You make a recipe of chocolate sponge cake in a jelly roll pan and IMMEDIATELY when it comes out of the oven you roll it up in a kitchen towel. (Regular box cake isn't springy enough to use for a jelly roll cake, you need to do a more eggy type of cake) After the cake is cooled you remove the towel and fill it with a whipped cream frosting (white-ish). Filling it is a bit fiddley, because the cake has cooled into a spiral shape, but it's do-able. Then frost the outside with a chocolate frosting, dragging a fork to make it look like bark. The mushrooms and holy are just fondant. A little powdered sugar is sprinkled over the top is the snow. It actually tastes really good and looks good sliced, because of the spiral. It's a fun
Christmas dessert.
